Reviewers Wanted - New Clozemaster User Interface

@mike has mentioned in another post that there is a new UI (version 5 it seems) that has been developed and is ready for testing. I am specifically referring to the web version of Clozemaster here. I don’t know what changes might be planned for the mobile apps.

The previous time there was a new UI released there was no prior announcement which caused a bit of a kerfuffle (kerfuffle wiktionary definition ). Therefore I hope that this time some people might be able to take a moment to have a look at the new interface and provide feedback .

In order to test the new version, add ?dashboard_v5=true to the end of your web browser URL. So for example if you are learning Spanish from English, then your URL would now be https://www.clozemaster.com/l/spa-eng?dashboard_v5=true

N.B. In my brief testing, this extra option appears to set a cookie (or similar), so that to revert back to the old version you need to explicitly modify the instructions to now add ?dashboard_v5=false to your URL (this was certainly true in my case).

I believe that it would be helpful if @mike could let us know if there is a launch date already planned for the new UI - and hence is there a preferred date for feedback - and if there are any particular features on which you would like feedback.

For my part, I’ll now make 3 posts about my brief testing -

  1. Dashboard changes
  2. Changes when playing sentences
  3. “Teach Me” button (very short post)

Immediate bug observation: the language-specific leaderboards are not accessible from the new interface. I found my ranking (which I would like the option to leave pinned) but clicking on it just leads to the global ranking page.

@zzcguns, did you intend to make the three bullet items into links? It’s easy enough to find them now, but it might be harder in the future.

Fantastic idea @alanf_us, I’ve turned those bullet points into links.
