This is an annoyance. Not quite as great as an annoyance as not being able to set the review cycle by collection, but an annoyance nonetheless.
I do not play “x sentences per round”. I have not done so for years. I just set it to Infinite and play through to the end, or I run out of time, or I’ve had enough, then I just hit [End Round].
Apparently Clozemaster doesn’t like that though, because every time I play a round on the Android App, then return to my main home of Web (and it doesn’t matter whether it’s the same collection or a different collection), the Sentences Per Round reverts to 20. Observe:

I play some sentences on there. If I’m using the app I’m probably either on the train, or doing it at 3am when I can’t get back to sleep; either way I rarely finish the collection in that session, if that’s important.
But then when I later return to Web (and in this case I have used the same collection but as I said this will be true for ANY collection that I play on Web)… I’m back to 20 questions:
Often I don’t notice this until I’m cruising through the questions and bang! “Hey, your fluency is improving, you’ve completed this round!”
Me: “What the…? Oh, the accursed 20 questions reset. Againnnnnnn…”
If it’s all the same I’d rather that CM leave the choice of questions per round to me.
