Voice option not showing for Tagalog

vs

I don’t see an option to select system voice for Tagalog, whereas I have no problem selecting system voice for Slovak or other languages.

Welcome to the Clozemaster forum! Could you tell us which device and OS version you are using?

It is most likely not to be a bug but just a limitation of your own device if you are an iOS user. I have two iPhone devices, one of which doesn’t offer voice options for the Clozemaster Vietnamese course like your issue with Tagalog. The reason is my old iPhone 6s running on iOS 15.8.5. My another iPhone SE2 running on iOS 26.0.1 supports the TTS voice option for Vietnamese. This is a well-known limitation discussed on the Apple’s official forum and Reddit. Apple always prioritizes beefing up support for major languages as well as Western/European languages.

If you are a desktop mode user, Google Chrome for Windows and Safari for Mac are the officially recommended browsers. Learn more about it on the FAQ page.

Hope this helps.

This is actually in Microsoft Edge on my Mac laptop. I want to use the “system” voices on Edge because they are much higher quality cloud based ones. I know azure cloud has a good quality Tagalog voice, but maybe it isn’t exposed in Edge?

Checking full read aloud options, these do show in the Edge menu:

  • fil-PH-BlessicaNeural3 (female)
  • fil-PH-AngeloNeural3 (male)

Perhaps the language code of Tagalog vs Filipino doesn’t match, and Clozemaster needs to pass fil-PH?
