Usted conoce todo.

English Translation

You know everything.

Doesn’t the verb conocer mean “to know/recognise someone or something”, whilst saber means to have knowledge of something. Wouldn’t “usted sabe todo” mean “you know everything” while “usted conoce todo” means “you know everybody”"?

In the singular, todo, is used to talk about things, meaning all, or everything, whereas todos can mean everybody when referring to people, or all when referring to things.

se cree que lo sabe todo - he thinks he knows it all
¿están todos? - Is everyone here?
