A couple of updates ago the android app was updated to have the “Submit” button be active even when no text had been inputed yet, and show the text “Teach me” instead. Ok why not.
It had been working fine, up until the last update. Now instead of just showing the text “Teach me” when there’s nothing on the input box, it keeps showing that text:
Until you type in the correct answer:
And only when you type the correct answer; i.e, if you keep typing, it turns back to “teach me”.
But if you correct your input to the right answer, it displays the expected “Submit”. To be sure, I checked if it’s not just counting the amount of letters, it’s indeed checking whether the input corresponds to the right answer. Example:
And once you notice, it’s quite hard not to see the “Submit” button change while typing. Which kind of ruins the exercise, if you ask me…
I’ve been looking around, in case it was a new setting that had been turned on automatically, but it doesn’t seem so. The hints settings were as usual
