Yes, it should be ‘les’. You hear such things, but I believe it’s only because the sentence isn’t fully formed in people’s heads while they’re speaking.
The funny thing about this Tatoeba sentence it that it was contributed by a native speaker from Spain, one of the Spanish language maintainers. When I looked it up I expected to find it was contributed by her Chilean colleague (he claims that in Chile, the final ‘s’ isn’t pronounced). ![]()
I’d say this is a native speaker kind of error.
