Temporary cacophany: two sentences at once

Not a big deal… but if we leave a sentence when the sound is still playing, under the old system, the sound would stop. And, in listening mode, the sound for the next sentence would start. That makes sense.

Now, if I leave the sentence when the sound is still playing, the sound continues to its end, which in some longish sentences is a few seconds. Plus, in listening mode, the next sentence starts as well. Leaving me with a jumble of incomprehensible sounds. And the need to repeat the new sentence once the old one finishes.

that would be annoying, but i actually find the sound continuing on after the sentence in vocab mode is a positive.

I’m finding the same as @Romanophile and much preferred the old way. It makes no sense to have the sound for two sentences playing at once. (Windows 10, Firefox)
