Why not, videojuego nuevo?

I think you can say either. However, sometimes the placement of nuevo implies different nuances:

“Tom ha comprado un coche nuevo.”: Tom has bought a (brand) new car.
“Tom ha comprado un nuevo coche.”: Tom has bought a new car (another car, in addition to the one he’s already got; it could be old).

As always, I’m happy to stand corrected by native speakers.

Correct!

As a side note, on the car example, you would probably add a se (Tom se ha comprado…). Not that what you wrote is incorrect, but if he bought it for himself (as usually happens - those thing are quite expensive, to go around giving them away : D ), normally you would indicate it
