Streaks not working properly when abroad

Currently the app seems to use my home time zone CEST but the webpage uses PT. This seems to mess up streaks.

Just used the website, because the app would not acknowledge the activity today. Now, the website shows a streak of 144 days, but the app is showing all at 0 and asks me to sync. I am scared that this will set the website’s counter to 0 as well, how to proceed? Delete/reinstall the app?

update… removed cache, reinstalled app, no avail

update: seems to work in the app again, potentially since locally I am now past midnight.

hope this all works out when travelling back, the computer scientist in me is very nervous now :melting_face:

You can set your time zone to CEST on the webpage here.

When your streak is lost due to timezone issues, the support can restore your streak.

For the record, I -did- set my time zone the way you described it. It seems to still draw the time from local smartphone time and not from an internal clock.

I thought it was just me. Mine was reset two days ago as well. Please help us @mike ?

fingers crossed @paris2020 ! it seems that for me it’s still working even though the app displayed 0 for a few hours. I am checking many times daily now and hit a few sentences whenever the current day is not marked immediately. not too convenient, but I’ll be back the day after tomorrow, so it’s time-boxed

Glad yours is fixed. Mine is still wrong on the dashboard but my profile has the correct streak. Fingers crossed indeed.
