Translation: Please just leave me alone. I want to think.
I think the first ‘Solo’ should be ‘Sólo’ to be the adverb signifying ‘just’. ‘Sola(o)’ in this case is signifying ‘alone’. But without the accent in the first word, these are both saying ‘Alone leave me alone’
Solo as adverb has been spelled solo for many years now. The RAE admits sólo when there is risk of ambiguity, but that’s not the case here.
If you ask me, you should never write sólo, even when there is ambiguity. Unlike si/sí and other such pairs, these are pronounced identically. There’s no reason to write them differently.
