I find the Spanish “se sentaron quietos” at odds with “sat still”. :thinking:

“Se quedaron ahí sentados quietos” [?]

I think the best translation would be: “Se quedaron quietos, como si estuvieran hechizados por la música.” You could also say: “Se quedaron ahí quietos”, but you don’t need to add the verb “sentarse”.

If you want to use the verb “sit” so : “Se quedaron ahí sentados, quietos” (Important: “,”), or “Se quedaron ahí sentados y quietos”.
