¡Que tenga un buen día!

English Translation

Have a nice day!

A bit of a tangent question but can someone clarify for me the different ways to say this? Is “Que tengas un buen día” something I can say to anyone or do I need to say “que tenga” for people I don’t know/in a professional setting? “Que tengan” for multiple people?

Exactly as you speculated: tengas for an individual you’d address as , tenga for usted, & tengan for ustedes.
