Why does the AI explanation say trapo? I know trapo means cloth/rag. I looked up estribos but found nothing related to cloth/rag. Can anyone explain this sentence?
The meaning of the Spanish idiom is “he lost his temper” (literally “he lost the stirrups”). That also seems to be the non-literal meaning of the given English translation. Maybe the AI tried to translate the English back to Spanish, and did it literally?
