I instinctively thought “para el gran científico que es”; is that wrong?
Reading it at first, it didn’t sound particularly wrong. But after some consideration, I’d tend to agree with you, that it should be “para el gran científico que es".
I was thinking that, maybe “lo” would be better with “buen” (lo buen cientifico), but they are both adjectives, so if it goes with one it should be fine with the other…
Idk, maybe there some rule I’m missing. Both the given translation and you option sound fine to me.
