Option to keep the old workflow/interface

The new workflow/interface rolled out for me this morning in-app and if have a workflow orientated toward the old interface. I would appreciate the option to toggle over to the old workflow/interface where I can see at glance (without toggling) how many reviews are left for each particular deck and how many new cards in that deck, and can see all my reviews organised in order based on amount of reviews. It strikes me as a ton of work to figure out how to convert my workflow to the new interface so for now am just going use the web interface. (Until that changes…)

I’ll add that the customisation only includes ability to change total new cards (evenly spread across all decks), and round length per individual deck. So it does not allow the ability to set different amounts of new cards per deck. I add different amounts of new cards to different decks each day, so the spread evenly aspect breaks my workflow.

Yes, wow, I find the iOS app to be completely unuseable now

I see the web version has also changed! Right now, I seem to spend too much time working things out, what is where and how to do it than learning, but no doubt it will get easier? Have to say, the previous set-up was fine for me.

Ernesto, help! (I’d just referred two friends to ClozeM but already they’re thinking of going elsewhere).

@rliantonio thanks for posting!

This should be doable through the (admittedly added but should be one time only) step of expanding each of the collections.

Today’s Plan can be expanded to show reviews per collection.

This should be possible.

I think I’ve captured all 3 in this one video.

Agreed there’s some setup. The intended benefit is that, after some initial config, you can now open the app, tap play, and play through all the reviews and new sentences you have queued up for the day - no more go to collection X, play N sentences, go back to the dashboard, go to collection Y, play M sentences, go back to the dashboard, etc.

How so / what’s your usual flow?

The web version should not have changed :grimacing: what are you seeing there that’s different?

I am not so troubled by the new interface. It only takes a little bit of adjustment. Perhaps it will seem cleaner and less confusing to new users and that will be good for the sustainability of the app.

Hi @mike , I’m seeing almost the same dashboard as app (with Plan) saying “Continue” for all separate collections. Not seen this screen before. (Have way overreached my 500 goal today just trying things out to get used to new system. Back to 500 tomorrow; -)

Next day: Pazienza eh! Back on track, no worries👍

Thank you for this!

I’ve also been splitting my reviews where “newer” reviews I do in app and mature/mastered reviews I do on the web because in-app it only gives me a 90/180/360 review interval for all cards rather than an “ever increasing interval” that the web does. I can’t seem to find a way to turn this feature on in the ios app (and I don’t consider manually adjusting each card, as some have suggested, an option).
