Only getting mastered for pressing play… you can see I have several hundred to go for both collections but when I press play I get only mastered. Not when I hit review (and usually when review is zero).

Right now the setting “PLAY REVIEW SENTENCES ORDERED BY“ says
“‘due date, most recent first“.
Try selecting “percent mastered, 0% first“.
Sounds like it shouldn’t work this way. I wonder if it is what they intend.
Tried that and it’s still the same. Shouldnt I be getting new words at some point?

This does indeed look weird. Have you tried playing on the Clozemaster web site, to see if you get the same behavior there? Is your app at the latest version (2.9.14, assuming you’re on Android)?

Changing the setting “PLAY REVIEW SENTENCES ORDERED BY“ to “percent mastered, 0% first“. fixed it for me. (I had the same problem.) I use the website rather than the app. I know that I hit the play button, not the review button.
But if the Max Reviews is not set to the same number as the Sentences Per Round, you should get new words. I can do a bug report.
Are you using the App? What version of the app? Are you using Apple or Android? Need this for the bug report. If you want to do the bug report, that is fine too, please advise.

I also set: Max reviews per round when playing new sentences = 0
That way I can control more when I do new sentences or reviews. Hopefully this will help you.

I see from your earier posts that you definitely have sentences to play and that you should not be getting this message.
I play from the webpage on my phone and it works ok, I would try that. Then we would know if the bug is from the app or is somthing with your account.
Same issue in web I only get 100% mastered for top 100 and for top 200 I get reviewed but no new
