Nos guio a la estación.

English Translation

He led us to the station.

Shouldn’t this be guió?

indicative, él/ella/Ud, preterite: guio

I think it goes in the same league as vio, rio, dio, crio. This one’s just a bit more surprising as it has a silent u.

No accent because now considered monosyllabic (RAE):

He led us to the station.

should be guio with no accent. should be changed.

I’m confused. Does it now have an accent?

English Translation

He led us to the station.

Currently when I play this cloze, it still has an accent “guió” but the correct form should be without it “guio”.
