The ChatGPT explanation was misleading and wrong. It only stressed the importance to “note the double tengo“. It doubled down on this “grammatical structure“ (as ChatGPT called it), assuring its correctness, instead of saying it’s wrong and correcting the error as you did. Yet another plausible-looking but wrong and useless “explanation“ against which I warned in Please consider removing the Explain feature entirely (FYI @mike). Thankfully we have humans (intelligences in the true sense of the word) like you @morbrorper in our community who are more reliable than LLM slop.
