That’s a clever thought! In this case me cayó el veinte is referencing the common denomination of coin used in payphones in Mexico, and is related to the English phrase the penny dropped. The idea in both cases being that the machines (your brain in the above phrases) only start working once the coin is dropped inside. With digital currency I wonder if these phrases will be lost to history?
