Llevar can mean “to wear” “to carry” “to take”… It can also mean SO MANY other things. For me, it’s a very hard word to fully grasp. It has so many meanings depending on the context of the sentence. Sometimes it’s very obvious, other times I scratch my head. This is one of many reasons Clozemaster is so valuable. You will see llevar and its conjugated forms in a TON of sentences. As for the definition of “wear”, the sentence must include an article of clothing. “llevar un vestido” (wear a dress) “llevar gafas” (wear glasses), etc.
