English Translation
She was terrified of spiders.
Wouldn’t this english translation be more accurate?.. “The spiders terrorized her.”
I’d say that the problem here is the spanish sentence rather than the english one. To me “Le aterraban las arañas” sounds better, in which case, terrified sounds fine.
But checking rae’s dictionary, they are marked as synonyms so… ¯_(ツ)_/¯
