Is there a way to tell whether a sentence being played is from a custom collection?

When I play a sentence and discover a problem with it, I often find myself wanting to know whether I added it myself (in which case reporting it doesn’t make any sense) or it belongs to a regular, non-custom collection. An immediate indication that it’s not a custom sentence is the presence of pronunciation for every word, since when I add a sentence, I only add pronunciation for at most one or two words. I also know that it’s not a custom sentence if clicking the “Report” button shows a link to the original sentence on Tatoeba. However, the converse is not true. I believe that non-custom sentences don’t always have pronunciation for each word, and new Fast Track sentences don’t have a link to Tatoeba.

For this reason, and for others as well, I wish that when I was playing a sentence, Clozemaster would let me know which collection it came from. Is there already some way to do this that I’m overlooking?

There is a way, though it’s a bit awkward: If you open the Round History (which is now hidden behind the “…” menu) and scroll all the way down to the sentence, you will see the name of the collection when you click the symbol to the right of the sentence (which will open a search in the containing collection). This in fact lets you edit the cloze, if you’re in collection owned by you.

I wish there was an easier way, as my method involves quite a few steps.

I should add that this applies to the browser interface; I don’t know about the app.

On the web interface, if the intention is just to quickly see whether this is a custom collection or not, it might suffice to just glance at the URL.

From what I see, a standard Clozemaster collection typically has a URL something like -

https://www.clozemaster.com/l/L1-L2/collections/NAME-OF-COLLECTION

wheras a custom collection doesn’t have the name of the collection but instead looks something like this -

https://www.clozemaster.com/l/ID1/collections/ID2/

Having said that, I almost the approach described by @morbrorper.

I think that only works if you’re playing one collection at a time, not if you’re reviewing all collections at once.

Oh right, maybe, I wouldn’t know as I only ever review one collection at a time.

This works for me, at least in the browser interface (which is the only one I generally use). I always play all collections, so the URL doesn’t give me this information. Thanks!
