(i’m using clozemaster pro)
i don’t know what to do when you have played all the sentences but you have mastered only a tiny fraction of them. If i click play then it says ‘no more senteces to play’, but i want to continue playing so i can master them. I don’t understand what i’m supposed to do. Reveiw shows ‘0’. I tried changing the review settings but it didn’t make a difference. I read the faq and searched this forum, but i can’t see the solution. It seems a really obvious and probably stupid Q?
thanks
It seems you have to wait a few days/weeks.
Clozemaster is based on the principle of spaced repetition.
With the default settings, the intervals between a sentence’s current and next due date are 1, 10, 30, 180 days.
If there are no more sentences you’ve never seen in the current collection and you’ve also reviewed all sentences that are due for review (as of today), then you have to
- wait at least one day until a sentence becomes due for review again
- move on to the next collection to study unseen sentences
thanks, will do. I just changed review settings eg Play review sentences ordered by=% mastered, 0% first, instead of ‘due date’, and this made some appear for review, surprisingly. I’ll move onto the next collection too
Having now seen your comment in another topic, you have set the setting “Max reviews per collection per day” set to 80.
If
- there are no more “never before played” sentences to play in a collection
- due to spaced repetition, there simply are no reviews due today
- even if there are reviews due/accrued, you’ve limited them to 80 sentences a day
then you get into your situation, at the latest after you played 80 cards:
You could restore the default settings if you don’t yet fully understand how the settings influence your experience. Or disable the checkbox next to “Max reviews per collection per day” if you want to continue playing.
