English Translation
She made an indiscreet comment at dinner.
How does “un indiscreto comentario” sound to you, versus “un comentario indiscreto”?

This is the distinction between ‘epíteto’, which can go before the noun, and ‘calificativo’, which nearly always goes after. To me this is clearly the latter, although it depends on context. ‘Discreto’ may be more natural as ‘epíteto’, because it’s what you’d assume a comment to be if not told otherwise.
Thanks, that was my thinking, too, but I wasn’t able to put it as eloquently as you.
