Hands-free no longer works offline

I have been using Hands-Free mode for studying on the go with downloaded collections. A few days ago, it stopped working on all devices. Before, it could be run without a connection (i.e. no cellular / WiFi), since I am frequently in dead zones and / or want to avoid spending data on my plan. Now, hands-free doesn’t work unless there is a working connection. It immediately shuts down and asks for a re-load. If possible, could you please return the ability to use hands-free with downloaded content? It has been one of the main ways I use the app on the go.

This is troubling news. May I ask what version of the app you’re using?

I’m on Android, version 3.0.0, and Hands-free only works for me in offline mode; in online mode the app will crash after some 10 - 15 minutes. I see that there’s an update available, but I’ll wait to update until this gets sorted.

I’m on version 3.2.2. I have auto-updates turned on. Depending on when this version hit, that could explain the problem. Everything was working fine before the update.
