Estos zapatos no me quedan.

The verb “quedar” seems to have a ton of different meanings: stay, remain, fit, meet, be located, finish (as in a race), look/seem? I don’t seem to have a good grasp of it.

I would rather say “no me quedan bien” without “bien” sounds strange to me.
