Could you use the subjunctive in this sentence? (…lo mejor que podamos hacer…) And if so, how would that change the meaning?
Non-native speaker here. I would say that with the focus on the present, where it’s already known what we can do, the indicative is the natural choice. As for the (unknown) future, the subjunctive is natural: “Haremos lo mejor que podamos”.
