No, with this you are saying that :" it’s hard to know that we will never see eachother again." So you use the future.
If you use saber it means you are sure, so you can’t use volvamos, sounds strange.
But with a slight change:
Es duro pensar que no volvamos a vernos más. It’s hard to think we won’t see eachother again.
