Es difícil relajarse cuando te duele la cabeza.

English Sentence

It’s hard to relax when you have a headache.

I’m intrigued by the mix of relajarse and te duele.

What’s strange there?

I was somehow expecting the pronouns to concord, if this is a general statement (“it’s difficult to relax if one has a headache”). Would “relajarte” sound strange?

You can use both. The meaning is still the same and in both you can say it talking to one or more people. It’s a general statement .
