I thoroughly searched thru my Word Reference dictionary for both terms (lejos and mejor) and couldn’t find that combination. So, it must be very uncommon.

You can say ‘es mejor de lejos’, where de lejos = by far. ‘Lejos mejor’ looks like a broken Google translation.

I’d just use ‘mucho’ or ‘muchísimo’ here however.
