I’ve never seen “el porqué” before. Can you just say “creo que sé porqué?” Is there a difference?

Hi endycy,
“Creo que sé por qué.” = “I think I know why”
“Creo que sé el porqué” = “I think I know the reason”
It might be helpful to recall that porque means because, por qué means why, and porqué means cause, reason or motive.
