Hi, I left the Clozemaster website open (not logged in, just the landing page) and after a while noticed my laptop fan (i7 vPro 8th gen) spinning at full speed. Checked Firefox’s about:performance and the Clozemaster tab was eating ~80% CPU doing basically nothing.
I ran the Firefox Profiler and the culprit is the animated SVG background (background_12_1_animated-*.svg).
The problem obviously still exists during normal website operation when dark mode is turned off.
(Using a PC, not a laptop):Seems ok by me. Using Task manager to analyze. When I go to Clozemaster (bright start-up page), initially the CPU usage and power usage is high, but after a little bit it returns to normal. Same for my CAD/CAM program. Initial high spikes, but then settles down to normal levels.
Some programs are memory gobblers. Google Chrome, Microsoft Outlook, my CAD?CAM program (Mastercam), Trellix Scanner Service are the main culprits. When I close Clozemaster… Google Chrome (to be cont., closing Clozemaster now LOL)
No change. When I open any website, memory seems to spike a bit. But really it vacillates about the same. So hard to say if opening a website has any effect.
