I would class this translation as - technically possible, but not particularly helpful.
I note also that the original French sentence on Tatoeba had the word peine instead of sentence before it was later modified.
This is similar to a previous discussion on this Forum with an Italian sentence using the word sentenza which also seemed out of place.
In both of these cases, the author of the Italian/French sentences on Tatoeba is the user GuyBrush88. In each of these languages they also added translations on Tatoeba where the meaning of “sentence” is a set of words conveying information (i.e. in French Cette phrase n’est pas en anglais.).
