This sentence in level 9 of the norwegian from english course keeps causing clozemaster to crash. Looks like there’s something wrong with the code. The sentence keeps popping up and I can’t skip it, it’s quite an annoying bug.
I’ve had a similar problem, with personal clozes missing matching double braces, as can be seen in this one. As a workaround, I suggest you mark the sentence as Ignored. You could add a corrected version to a personal collection, if it’s important to you.
I wish Clozemaster would just allow us to edit the target-language text in general. There are occasional mistakes in the Hungarian clozes, but unlike everything else, I can’t fix it myself.
I tried ignoring the sentence and marking it as mastered, but even that causes an error, so I’m stuck. ![]()
It’s not coming up for review, I haven’t had the chance to answer the question at all.
Sorry, of course. But it shouldn’t come up for playing either, if it’s ignored. Strange!
Oh, my last comment could have been worded better. I can’t ignore or mark it as mastered, as attempting to do so also causes an error that crashes clozemaster. On the app, I get an error instantly, the sentence doesn’t even appear like on the website (which is where I took the screenshot).
OK, it’s the difference between “tried ignoring” and “tried to ignore”
. I now see you never got that far.
Then there’s still hope for you; you will have to open (“Manage”) the offending collection, find the bad sentence and mark it there. Unfortunately, you can’t just search globally for the sentence; you will have to open the collection directly, but that’s no big problem as you already know its name.
Unfortunately that doesn’t work either, whatever I try to do, I get this error:
“Oh no! There was an error updating the sentences. Sorry about that. Please try again and let us know if you see this message again.”
I should have tried it myself before giving you false hope. The same happens to me. It must be because of the pre-save validation. Then only an administrator can help you, sorry.
