Borrador en la mesa.

English Translation

Draft on the table.

The translation we’re given is: Draft on the table. How does this make sense?

Unless there is an english idiom I am unaware of (I’ve done some searching, but didn’t find anything along those lines), I see 2 possibilities:

  • draft used as a noun. In which case the translation seems accurate and as lacking in meaning in both languages (or rather, the sentence is as incomplete in both languages)
  • draft used as verb, in which case the spanish translation is missing a verb. Something like “Escribe el/un/tu borrador en la mesa” could be an option.
