Aquí estaréis seguros.

English Translation

You’ll be safe here.

What in this sentence suggests the vosotros form? I could easily be the usted form. Am I missing something?

Estaréis second person plural (vosotros), Future tense. The usted form is estará and its plural form is estarán.

Thanks for your answer. Estará was one of the choices and the one I selected apparently incorrectly. It didn’t seem like a plural sentence to me. (seemed like you (usted) in the future not you all (vosotros) in the future.) Obviously, I can be wrong. I’ll look at it again when it comes up for review.)

If you take into account that seguros is in the plural, the only options that make sense are the vosotros and the ustedes form. You will very rarely see “you all” as a hint as to whether to use formal or informal address, and even so, in many parts of Latin America, ustedes is used for both.

Yes, that makes sense. Thank you for your input.
