Android app stuck after editing answer

Device: Android 15

How to reproduce.

  1. Practice a sentence. Skill: listening. Mode: Hard (text input)
  2. Submit a correct response
  3. Edit the sentence by clicking the pencil-icon in the lower right-hand corner
  4. Add some text to the field ‘Notes (shown after answering)’
  5. Click Save

Now the UI on the lower part of the screen is gone and there is no way to continue without closing the window and starting over.

Same thing here; quite annoying, to say the least.

To expand a bit, for me it also happens in the following scenarios:

  • when adding something to the “Hint” field
  • or simply, when opening the edit screen of a sentence that was previously edited (and so, that has content in either the “Notes” or the “Hint” fields

Thanks for confirming that you can reproduce the problem. Yes, it happens to me as well regardless of which fields I change. I just wanted to keep the bug report simple.
