Would somebody please tell me what’s going on here?

“Jemand” is obvious here, but I couldn’t fill it in because I wasn’t looking for a subject that far from the main verb. Is it normal to kick a ‘sort of’’ subject like jemand behind the dative pronoun and bitte?

Is “jemand” the cloze word?

I’m not sure I understand your question. Are you questioning the word order in the part “Würde mir bitte jemand …”?

I think “Würde jemand mir bitte …” also works.

But “Würde mir bitte jemand …” sounds more natural, in my opinion.
