Spanish Translation
¿Va a doler mucho?
Shouldn’t ‘‘weh tun’’ go joined?
¿Va a doler mucho?
Shouldn’t ‘‘weh tun’’ go joined?
It’s both correct.
Germany, over the last 30 years, changed a couple of times whether some words should be written with or without a space between them, so oftentimes, both versions are acceptable. Most Germans don’t even know the difference, it’s very confusing. Even Germans do it “wrong” most of the times, or they simply write whichever they personally find looks better, and nobody really cares, except for some Grammar Nazis maybe.
Keep in mind though that “weh tun” is colloquial, so if you’re in a situation where it’s important whether you use a space or not, you should maybe use a more formal verb (for example, “schmerzen”) altogether.
Good to know, ty very much.
