I’m curious why this one is in the list of most frequent words in German? It’s not a word, only a proper name. Why does it show up in the German list but many of the more widespread or popular German names don’t show up?
I´ve also noticed that a lot too but I have no explanation for it. I just set the word to 100% completed and ignore.
There’s an Austrian TV show called Kommissar Rex that I see on quite often during the daytime on various DE stations, a 90s detective show with a dog, ran for 10 seasons and has a decent enough rating on IMDB to make me think it was popular enough to push the name onto this list. Had a few spin-offs and inspired new shows. That’d be my guess at least. Ignoring as well.
