Me kaikki palamme vapauden kaipuusta.

Should be “We all burn WITH desire for freedom”. This English sentence accidentally says pretty much exactly the opposite (that we burn = destroy that desire), which doesn’t even make sense.

Agreed, the English translation makes no sense. It should either be “We all burn with desire for freedom”, or just “We burn with desire for freedom”.
