For the above to sentence to agree with the given sentence “What do you suggest?”
the given answer “schlagen” should probably be “vorschlagen”…

Was schlagen Sie vor? is definitely a good translation, or Was schlägst du vor?

  • German separable verbs (just Google it, there are plenty of sites describing what it is and the rules around it)
  • the conjugation of vorschlagen on Wiktionary
