I am having trouble understanding the distinction between “zurückkomme” and “zurückkehre”. Do you use “zurückkomme” for more mundane, “small” instances of coming back, like you leave to go in the other room and you come back, whereas “zurückkehren” is more of a large-scale, grandiose sort of thing, like you went far away for many months, and then you come back?
You might be right but the difference is too minor tbh
