I think that the translation is wrong and the subject and object are switched. Google translates as “You embarrass me”. I suppose it could also be: You make me ashamed.
I’m by no means a Portuguese speaker, but I do know Spanish, and if you look at the Spanish parallel translation on Tatoeba, it does the subject-object inversion and uses a noun related to envergonhar.
