Who do you want to speak to?
Would, “Vem vill du tala med?” also be a correct translation? If yes, is there any difference in meaning?
I’m not a native speaker, but my understanding is this:
- “vilka” is used when there is a fixed known list of people to choose from and you want to know who of those known people it’s going to be.
- “vem” is used when it’s unknown who the people are between whom you can choose.
Kind of like “what” vs “which” in English.
Example
- “With whom of the people working here would you like to speak?” → vilka
- “If you could speak with any person in the world, who would it be?” “Lionel Messi.” → vem

Actually, it depends on the number of people you are referring to: vem (Sp. quién) for one person (or unknown number), vilka (Sp. quiénes) for more than one.
That’s also a correct translation, as English who can refer to any number of people.
