I have seen both savoir and connaitre being used with “la vérité”. Are they interchanceable in this context or would there be any nuance between the two with regard to “knowing the truth”?

I think “connaitre” is better here, it feels more natural anyway.

"Connaitre" is typically followed by a noun (groupe nominal), whereas “savoir” isn’t:
