I’m not sure what the best English translation would be of the the French statement (Tu ne t’en sortiras pas avec moi !). Maybe, “you won’t get away with this“ ?

The English statement, “You won’t have your way with me“ has (in the midwest USA), a sexual connotation, such as force or strong seduction of a much younger or more innocent person. It is an old-fashioned way of saying it. (You might hear someone say it jokingly but I have never heard it said seriously.) Does the French sentence have this type of connotation? Thanks in advance.

I don’t think it necessarily has a sexual connotation in french. I’m not sure what an idiomatic way of saying this in english would be; the general meaning is “I see/know what you are trying and it won’t work with me”

If you say “you won’t have your way with me“ in the midwest USA, that is typically how it would be interpreted. I don’t know about England or other English-speaking countries.
