The translations is “Are you going to Tom’s party?” The Explanation says it translates to “Shall I go to Tom’s party?” Those does seems like the same. One is ask if the other person is going and the other is ask themselves if they are going. It sees like it should be “Shall I go…” Is it correct that this would be used to ask if someone else is going?
