I searched the sentence and listened to the Clozemaster original TTS in the new Fluency Fast Track Level 2. As you pointed out, the Clozemaster’s TTS improperly pronounces 武器 as KI instead of BUKI.

Also, the Clozemaster’s TTS doesn’t put an accent on 兵士 and sounds unnatural. You need to put the accent on the first syllable HE of heishi (兵士).

Google Translates’ TTS pronounces the Japanese sentence very naturally. Try comparing.
