The Japanese sentence means “It will contribute to the community.”
But 社会に寄与する sounds a little unnatural. We usually specify which aspect of community/society it will contribute to. – e.g. 世界平和に寄与する (it will contribute to world peace) is a frequent expression. If you don’t specify, we usually say 社会に貢献する instead of 寄与する.
